Ottima posizione, cordialità e professionalità degli addetti. Stanza di normali dimensioni ma con mobilio datato "armadio finto antico e porta dalla quale penetra la luce proveniente dal corridoio". bagno di dimensioni ridottissime ma funzionale. Terrazza spettacolare. Da andarci se si trova una offerta "a prezzo pieno penso si trovi di meglio.

Stunning rooftop terrace view. Very clean and comfortable. Extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming staff. Perfectly situated and quiet. Delicious breakfast, and could make drinks outside that time. We had a budget room, without a view so next time I shall book a room with a view! Will definitely return.

Love, love, love this place. We were in Florence for 3 days and wish we could have stayed longer. Best wifi service we had on our trip. Great location, helpful staff/24 hour desk, great breakfast, rooftop seating w/view of entire city. This hotel does have a lift to the lobby (it's on the second floor but not difficult to find.) Must check out Angie's Bar if visiting Florence, great music (soul, R&B, mowtown, etc, cute bartender :D ), reasonable prices. Can't wait to go back and will surely stay at La Scaletta.

Excellent value, quality and location. Situated a hundred yards south of the Ponte Vecchio in a 15th century pallazzo, the hotel is on the third floor, accessed by a small caged lift. The room was large and stylish. Stairs from the breakfast room lead to a roof terrace with a wonderful 360 degree view of the city. The staff were all professional and helpful. Very near the Piazza di Santo Spirito with fine reasonably priced Rough guide reccommended resturants. As first-time visitors to Firenze, I feel we landed on our feet thanks to Venere's excellent website.

Una chicca di posto a un passo da Ponte Vecchio. Personale gentilissimo, camere spaziose e pulitissime, una vista mozzafiato su Firenze...il tutto a un prezzo fenomenale! Superconsigliato!!!.. Questa sera ho cenato sui tetti di Firenze, la vista è da togliere il fiato, e il cibi molto buono. SuperConsigliate anche le suite, appena ristrutturate, ad un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Io vengo spesso per lavoro, ma lo consiglio soprattutto a chi vuole trascorrere dei giorni di vacanza, in tranquillità ma comunque in una zona centralissima. Al personale va dato un elogio particolare, tutti disponibili e molto cordiali.

La posizione è strategica per visitare la città a piedi. Al ritorno dopo una giornata trascorsa salendo scale e camminando fra magnifiche opere d'arte e una squisita cenetta a lume di candela su una terrazza con vista fantastica e personale troppo simpatico, si può solo pensare : "scelta veramente azzeccata".

Après une longue journée de marche à travers tout Florence, nous avons été séduit par la terrasse de ce restaurant avec jolie vue, service impeccable et bonne cuisine...Toutefois, si vous souhaitez dîner sur la plus haute terrasse qui elle seule propose une superbe vue sur tout Florence (comme présentée en photo sur le menu à l'entrée dans la rue), réservez car il n' y a que 3 tables! Je suppose qu'elles doivent être réservées de toute façon à la clientèle de l'hotel. Néanmoins, la terrasse sur laquelle vous aurez le plus de chance de dîner aura tout de même une très belle vue sur les jardins del Boboli et sur le pallazzo Pitti.

Cet hôtel est extrêmement bien situé à 100 mètres du palazzo Pitti et 150 mètres du ponte Vecchio. Nous avons eu une chambre très spacieuse et calme décorée dans un style moderne très sobre dans laquelle nous avons séjourné 3 nuits. Le personnel est chaleureux et très professionnel. Le restaurant propose une carte de qualité. Le vrai plus : la terrasse d'où l'on voit les toits de la ville et le palazzo Pitti. C'est un hôtel que je recommanderai à mon entourage sans la moindre hésitation.

If you look for an authentic place with a spectacular view, friendly staff, in the centre of Firenze, la Scaletta is the place! Especially May to September, when you can have dinner and breakfast on the terrace, high above Florence... When you arrive, you may think to be in the wrong place, when a small corridor leads to a very small elevator... But when you arrive at the friendly reception, and then step on the terrace: you have Florence at your feet...

Was really nice being on the quieter yet more hip side of town. Quick walk over the beautiful river to get to all the goodies in florence. The room we had was one of their newer rooms i guess and it had a unique design and layout. We grabbed drinks at the restaurant upstairs and the view from the very top is super nice. Wish we had eaten dinner up there but you needed reservations. Getting to our room was really awkward. You had to go up 3 floors to go down a half of one. Kind of confusing at first. Another thing that will surprise you at first is using the stairs at night and the lights go off on you. Staff didn't mention they were on a timer and you will have to find the switch by each door out of the stairwell.

The location is very Good as you are in Easy walking distance from all the major attractions. The staff was always very friendly and Most helpful. The rooms are Good with a nice spacy shower. They have a lovely terrace where we had twice a very good dinner and there is a second smaller One with a view over all of Florence. The elevator is indeed very small, One Person and two bags just fit in, but that was fine with us.

I so enjoyed my stay at Hotel La Scaletta. My room was huge with a separate office/lounge room (I had booked a double room via booking.com). The king sized bed was the most comfortable of the 5 hotels I have stayed in in Italy this month. The American breakfast was very well done and eating up on the terrace with views to die for can't be beat. I was travelling alone and all the hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. The location, just a couple blocks from the Ponte Viecco in one direction and the Pitti Palace in the other was perfect. It is less than 5 minutes from the Ufizzi. I had a delicious dinner in the hotel La Scaletta. If you go be sure to visit some of the neighborhood sites and for sure eat and mingle away from the tourist hords in piazza Santo Spirito (Osteria Santo Spirito and Gusta Osteria were delicious!! I would stay no where else in Florence!! Thanks!!

My husband, mom and I stayed here sept 4 - 7 and we were really happy with our stay. The hotel is great, lots of charm and great location. Staff was really nice and all spoke good english, which we appreciated. We stayed in the triple room and loved it. More spacious than I thought it would be and comfortable beds. Pretty full length windows that opened to a pretty view. The bathroom was sufficient, a nice size but the shower didnt really have a door so the floor got pretty wet...not a big deal though. everything was clean and the free breakfast is a nice value added. We had dinner on the top terrace one night. food and service was good, but we thought it was pretty over-priced. It was by the most expensive dinner we had in Florence. The view is beautiful though, so I guess you pay for that. Would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel for the great location, staff, cleanliness, terraces and comfort!

Tutto eccellente. la camera silenziosa,le receptionist gentilissime,la posizione supercentrale. la possibilita' del parcheggio che prende e riporta la macchina a due minuti dall'hotel. inoltre coctail di benvenuto su una terrazzina incantevole con vista su Giardini di Boboli.

Cercavo un posto romantico dove cenare e la scelta è ricaduta su questo albergo ristorante poichè dispone di un terrazzo con vista panoramica su Firenze . Vale la pena arrivare prima del tramonto per godersi a pieno il panorama . Cibi buoni e personale disponibile ed educato. Veramente soddisfatto, grazie.
