From Peretola/Amerigo Vespucci Airport

From Peretola/Amerigo Vespucci Airport, there are two options to reach our facility:
- By taxi (about €30-45) or by Tram Line 2 (about €3.00 per person), which connects the airport to the Santa Maria Novella train station. Novella, from here you can take a taxi again (about €15-25) or take the public minibus "C4" (about €3.00 per person). The stop for Hotel La Scaletta al Ponte Vecchio is "Piazza Pitti." Continue straight and enter Via Guicciardini.
Hotel La Scaletta al Ponte Vecchio is about 50 meters ahead on the right (after the Giunti bookshop) at number 13 black (because in Florence every street has a dual number, red and black).

- A pleasant walk of about 20 minutes through the historic center of Florence, following the signs for the Duomo and then for Ponte Vecchio. Once you reach the bridge, cross it and the street in front of you is Via Guicciardini. IMPORTANT:
If you use a navigator, set PIAZZA CARLO LEVI to reach us. DO NOT set the hotel's street address as traffic changes have been made and some roads have a different direction of travel.

From the A1 motorway
From the A1, take the FIRENZE IMPRUNETA exit. At the roundabout, follow the signs for the city center. You will pass through the small village of "Galluzzo." After about 2.5 km, you will see the Pasticceria Fabiani on your right. There, you must turn right (as the road in front of you is a preferential lane for buses and taxis). Follow the road. After a short while, you will find a traffic light and there Turn left following the signs for Palazzo Pitti. Go all the way down the street and at the end you'll find a large roundabout, which is Piazza di Porta Romana. Enter the large gate in front of you and go all the way down Via Romana. At the end of the street you'll find a small square (Piazza San Felice) with a column in the middle. Take the road to the right of the column and you'll enter Piazza Pitti. At the end of the square on the right there's a newsstand. Stop there. The street in front of you is Via Guicciardini. Hotel La Scaletta is on your right at number 13 black (because Florence has a double red and black numbering for each street). From the A11 Motorway
Coming from the A11 motorway, follow the signs for Florence until the junction with the A1 motorway, then follow the signs for Rome and exit at FIRENZE IMPRUNETA. At the roundabout, follow the signs for the city center. You will pass through the small village of Galluzzo. After about 2.5 km, you will see Pasticceria Fabiani on your right. You must turn right there (as the road in front of you is a bus and taxi lane). Follow the road until you reach a traffic light, where you turn left following the signs for Palazzo Pitti. To reach our hotel, you'll enter both the ZTL (limited traffic zone) and the pedestrian area, but don't worry, because the garage attendant will report your license plate to the local police.

Our hotel does not have private parking, but we partner with two garages for which we recommend booking in advance:

- Garage Porta Romana open from 7:00 am to midnight, with pick-up and drop-off service in Piazza Carlo Levi starting from €35 for 24 hours (SUVs, luxury cars, vans, and minivans cost more).

- Garage Lungarno is about a 200-meter walk from the hotel, open from 7:00 am to 1:00 am, €32 for 24 hours (luxury cars, vans, and minivans cost more). In this case, you park your car yourself and collect it upon departure. If you do not book in advance, rates range from €33 to €42 for 24 hours.
